Overview

Delivered by Great Ormond Street Hospital Learning Academy, the aim of this 15-credit module is to provide the learner with the theory that underpins haematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). Practitioners will learn to critically analyse the side effects of treatment to deliver appropriate care to the child or young person and their family. This module will provide the learner with the essential knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of the patient and family undergoing HSCT.

This module can be taken as part of a Masters, Postgraduate Diploma, Postgraduate Certificate or Graduate Certificate in Paediatrics and Child Healthcare Practice. Visit our MSc Paediatrics & Child Healthcare Practice page for more details.
