Delivered by Great Ormond Street Hospital Learning Academy, this 15-credit module aims to enhance the practitioner’s knowledge and understanding of child psychological development theory and the use of evidence-based practice within paediatric mental health care. This module is in-line with NHS England’s aims of enhancing both clinical and non-clinical staffs’ mental health skills within a paediatric setting, equipping them with the necessary attributes to challenge their practice and evaluate their care aligned with evidence-based research.

This module can be taken as part of a Masters, Postgraduate Diploma, Postgraduate Certificate or Graduate Certificate in Paediatrics and Child Healthcare Practice. You can find more information on our MSc Paediatrics & Child Healthcare Practice page.
